Trying out tizania (http://tizonia.org/) for streaming music from youtube on the command line. Working pretty nice. Though I don't really want to stream from youtube.
@edsu I did yes - it's the only way I found but I'd also love to know of any alternatives. I also had to go through the indignity of installing ADE via Wine and figuring out how to get it working just to get the epub onto my machine to remove the DRM in the first place! What a shambles.
A thousand thank yous to the hackers, tinkerers and documentors out there that got me my legally purchased ebook onto my legally owned ebook reader, despite all the noxious DRM. Heartening community effort. Equal number of eff yous to the ruinous system responsible for Adobe Digital Editions.
@thinkMoult@hyperlinkyourheart "Brutal and green" is just my description of the Barbican :) It's 60/70s brutalist architecture, lots of concrete, but due to liberal addition of foliage and water features, it's incredibly pleasant. It's a fantastic example of carefully architected social housing (that is sadly mostly now privately owned.)
