For the last few weeks @Crash has been working on a quickplay RPG called Kobolds In Space!.
I've put together and have been tinkering with a Python script that automatically generates a ship, plot, and adversary for a Kobolds In Space! game, along with a bunch of pre-generated kobolds for players to play.
(The very quick rules: you add two stats depending on what you're doing, and roll 2d6 against the total. Roll lower, you succeed; higher, you fail; get it exactly, you're somewhat successful.)

"This is why if you go hiking in the woods or anyplace you might get lost or stranded, it's a smart idea to bring along a short length of fiber optic cable. If you get into trouble, just bury the cable. A backhoe will be along in a few minutes to dig it up, and you can just ask the driver for a ride back to civilization."

It is important to me to note that early in Mastodon's life, showing the number of unread notifications was considered an antipattern and users were vocally pleased that Mastodon DIDN'T do this.
