@r000t It looks like you've been here for about a year, but given this post it's pretty clear that you haven't really been paying attention. We've had instances that run whitelists instead of blacklists, admins communicating about problem instances, and problems with large instances since early 2017 at the latest. These aren't new fads. They're how the fediverse works.

I've temporarily suspended weedis.life until they deal with their spam problem.

In this case, their spam problem resulted in OUR sidekiq queues getting fouled. So now we get to wait for everything to catch up.

@benhamill @tcql Not much at all, if you can bore down to fresh water. Septic system only takes about a thousand square feet, and a deep well takes barely any space at all. I dunno how arable the soil would be on an oceanic island of that size, but something's clearly growing there.
