I’m all for speaking truth to power but I don’t understand screaming your version of someone else’s reality into their face while they categorically deny it & profess support for your cause until you break them down. What I’ve seen here is nothing short of bullying. And no, it doesn’t make it right because he was on a TV show once.

Juste un petit pouet pour dire que Framasite (https://frama.site/) c'est vraiment de la balle, ça permet de se faire un site ou un blog sans trop de peine, et en plus, après, une fois qu'on a son propre chez-soi, ça peut se migrer (avec une petite dose de savoir-faire tout de même, cf début de tuto ici : https://framacloud.org/fr/cultiver-son-jardin/grav.html) à partir de la sauvegarde .zip (facilement téléchargeable via le panneau d'administration).

Je suis en train de préparer un cursus pour initier ma fille (6 ans) à l'informatique cette année, et je cherche des ressources.

J'ai déjà du contenu, un début de programme (la numération, les premières machines à calculer, puis les premières programmables, la logique booléenne, Scratch, etc...), et j'adapte par rapport à ses attentes et capacités, mais s'il existait de (bonnes) bases quelque part, ça serait déjà ça de pris (j'ai du mal à trouver mon bonheur).

Please set a password for Redis on your instance:

Add REDIS_PASSWORD to your .env.production config and use the same password in your redis configuration, with the requirepass configuration directive.

Without a password you are a single server side request forgery vulnerability away from someone gaining shell access to your instance. SSRF vulnerabilities are not that rare that it never happens.

A black musician decided to learn more about racism and why it is the way it is, so he talking with KKK members and interviewing them in hopes of writing a book. Turns out after just hanging out with him long enough, KKK members tended to stop being members. Including three Grand Dragon's.

The full interview is a hoot, but I haven't tracked down a proper podcast yet. I need to get a copy of this guy's book, too.

I am a queer, trans, non-binary person.

I am also in the closet offline for personal safety reasons - if you met me, you'd see someone who looked like a man. This is so I can live and work in my area in relative physical safety.

I'd like to hear from others in similar situations - I can't be the only one, but I'm feeling somewhat short on solidarity.

Is anyone else out there, especially in the UK and especially over the age of 25, in a similar situation?

I am sick of hiding so please boost.

Something about the resigned tone of this long read from the NYT made me quite teary. Almost all the events transpired before I was born and it made me think about when I first learned about climate change and how it was argued for and against. I appreciate knowing some historical context to this whole saga.
