I'm gonna go with "I'm still.. on the fence, about how accurate my estimate is, but I think it's closer than you think." (although I'm bad at estimating so my error bars are pretty high),

and an additional "you wanna consider that maybe someone disagreeing with you doesn't mean they must be out of touch with reality?".

It's philosphical. It's political. The call is coming from inside the building. The breathing doesn't stop.

@automatron @fdroidorg GNU has a philosophy behind it that developed FROM WRITING CODE. It is a political practice that they engaging in AS A COMPONENT OF WRITING CODE, because they have an idea of how they want to be able to engage with software, and are taking steps to bring that into being for more and more people.

F-Droid is a political organization focused on bringing that philosophy into practice around mobile devices.

It's PHILOSOPHY and POLITICS. It's "how you conduct your life" and "how you engage with groups of people".

You can't leave the breathing to "people who actually know what they're talking about". You choosing and chewing food doesn't risk forcing people with molecular gastronomy degrees into unemployment.

@automatron @fdroidorg Like, the entire movement has and has always had very polical goals, and operates in very political dimensions. Literally two of the last ten blog posts on https://f-droid.org/news/ are NOT about a political topic, and the only reason I feel confident saying that is because TWiFs are about MULTIPLE topics, not just ONE, and those MIGHT not all be political.
