It doesn't work very much of the time for me, especially if the caption is only a few words. I do have an older phone, though.

Instagram really needs an auto translate feature. Only a small minority of the humans I follow there (I follow a lot of cute dog accounts) speak English. A lot of long haired dudes who like to take their shirts off live in Spain and Brazil, apparently. It'd be nice to read the captions once in a while.

Worked 12 hours today, total scramble at the end of the day. Argh. Exhausted. Was going to make bread tonight, but I'm just too tired.

Finished class prep early, so I have a whole 25 free minutes to work on my book. Wheeee!

I hope I sleep better tonight. Someone come fix me a hot rum toddy and massage my toes. I'll remember you in my will.

Slept horribly last night. Both my husband and I suffer from terrible hay fever in the fall, especially November.

My husband reports that I talked in my sleep last night and denounced someone as a "f*cking idiot." I must have been dreaming about conspiracy nuts or climate deniers. 😂

The other day an angry YouTube commenter accused me of destroying the imaginations of an entire generation (Millennials) by making a video asserting that the Oak Island treasure story is false. Wow. I didn't realize I was so important!

I say it every Nov. 1, and many people out there hate me for it but it's heartfelt advice. Writers, don't do #NaNoWriMo. Just don't do it. You don't need it, and you're a better writer than that. Here's why:
