    @tregeagle Ah! I hadn't thought to parse it that way. To be anoraky, I must point out that K9 was usually less electrical than intended. Initially it was because his radio control was on the same frequency as the studio cameras, but generally it was because his motor was so damn noisy. Much of the time he was pulled along on fishing line. There's an analogy there for life in general, but I can't think of what it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZgN5658H-I #DrWho

    Damn. Having seen off a month-long chest infection, I now have a cold. Most people do it the other way round, with the bacteria immediately pursuant to the virus, but I'm a rebel. I don't go by society's stuck-up, buttoned-down illness rules. I'll take what I don't want whenever I don't want it, however it comes. I surf the predatory microbiome like a free spirit. Nobody's yet built a cage big enough for me and all my minor ailments.

    @tregeagle Rarely get headaches of any sort; certainly never migraines. I've always assumed the snowflake effect is just interference patterns caused by viewing a point of light through an unfocused lens. I'd show you what I mean but, frustratingly, I can't find a way to take a screenshot of what the screen looks like to me without my glasses. I suppose I should have been a painter…
