I think there's a theory that the Empire's tactics were so rudimentary because of the declining quality of the Clone Army.

Leadership was poor because it was mostly infighting to gain approval from the Emperor. The only real G they had was Grand Moff Tarkin, which was why they never recovered from the first Death Star being blown up.

Great equipment, but they had no real leadership or vision. Like... at all.

@somarasu So many times. They just didn't learn.

It's always been interesting that the Empire is always so bad at tactics and strategy because they always relied on their numbers.

If they had a bit more cunning, the could have easily crushed the rebellion.

But they all suffered from hubris.

@ArtistMarciaX I relate to this HARD because most of my life I've done what people around me has said was impossible.

My context has always been the more I lean into doing something I want to do the way I want to do it, all of that success shit we harp about follows.
