@Ninjatrappeur I have about 3000 feeds and I did not experience any drop in that number.
Why do you feel that ‘feeds are dying’? In my experience there are even more feeds available today thanks to ActivityPub.

@Tak @HyuchiaDiego @HyuchiaDiego It is difficult to consider ‘dragging a website into an Electron’ as a desktop app. It is a website with a *bundled* browser. And I think this is why *users* complain so much.

The same with shipping your app inside a container.

Yes, those are easy, convenient options for *developers*, but that is incredibly wasteful for *users*.
Users are complaining and they cannot fix devs’ desires.

Browsers are already highly optimized. Good luck squeezing them more.

pretty please, drop my handle from this ‘who has the biggest contest’. I am an XMPP user, but pretending that folks need to choose between XMPP or Matrix is a false dichotomy. Also, antagonizing both communities is not very kind and I do not want to be part of it.
