I’m horrible at growing tomatos. I have a tomato plant this year, but it only had one tiny tomato and was very sickish all the time.
I can recommend chilis or non hot peppers as an easy to grow plant.
If you use a big pot like 20L there’s barely anything that can go wrong and you’re likely to get some fruits. They visibly let down their leaves when they lack water without dying for 3 or 5 more days, so they are hard to kill that way. Also they don’t get many diseases. The only risks are probably caterpillars eating it or aphids preventing bloom / weaking it to disease.
Supermarkets often only have 1-3 varieties when there are hundreds of very different varieties, and with spicy ones you don’t need a big yield. The plants look nice too, so it feels like something worth growing.

Growing Vanilla in a glass jar with moss. It’s working very well. I have another one in orchid substrate and it barely survives, while this one is growing great. I ~4 spray bottle shots of water every 1 or 2 days. Does anyone know how to run scripts/checkschema.php for the first time directly after installing with scripts/installer_cli.php?
Or just how do you run it in general?

I usually put lamps much closer, as they are usually far less effective than sunlight and the plants don’t get hurt unless they touch them directly, but I don’t know how it is with the specialised ones. !chili

Hi, you seem to have a pretty good germination rate, are you growing them on top of a radiator? 5 of my 9 pots haven't germinated yet, and I have quite low temperatures at around 20°C.
Also those white stems mean that they are suffering from too little light.
They put all energy into growing tall and stretch out as far they can to find a light source, instead of becoming sturdy and healthy.
If you have a window with more sun I would advice you to move them there.
If you have lamps move those closer. Darker colourful stems are more healthy.
Here is a picture of my plants this year, with three "Carolina Reaper" pots (a lot germinated). One lonely little "Yellow Brain Strain" pepper at the bottom and some half dead patchouli in the middle of it.
