After completing first 3 lessons of https://course.fast.ai, @vedrangrcic@twitter.com completed the assignment using a dataset of clouds. He shared it on the forums.

Then it got re-trained on world's largest cloud dataset and is now deployed in 120 countries!

    Fantastic work, Vedran! :)

Deleting the remainder of proprietary amd gpu drivers from my system.

All packages are called rockm-* except for one -- rock-dkms. Amdgpu instructions do not mention uninstalling this package.

If rock-dkms is installed alone, it will compile empty kernel modules that will cause system to become unbootable with the next kernel update.

    I had fun figuring that out. #AMD #amdgpu #debian

Good news as EU formally adopts Ecodesign measures:

    - As of 2021, all TVs, monitors, fridges, freezers, washing machines, washer-dryers, dishwashers and lighting products on the EU market will have to meet minimum repairability requirements
    - Manufacturers will have to ensure easy disassembly with commonly available tools.
    - Spare parts and repair information will have to be made available to professional repairers for a minimum number of years.

Also the tutorial on using Google Dialong flow, just mentions parts of Google Cloud Platform not explaining what they do, then I try to use GCP and it's really slow.

Everything seems overly complicated. I kind of expected more.

I like your take on in, but naming and shaming could only work if bad actors would reveal their names.

Instead of creating bug report from someone@palantir.com the same person could just do that with a gmail account.

Maybe some sort of organization or a list that collect the reports of bad actors could try and verify this -- a spamhaus for open-source development.

Turns out the information I need is in authpgsqlrc.dpkg-list -- a file created durign upgrade.

    It's syntax is this --

    PGSQL_CONNECTION \

Upgrading #debian 9 to 10. Authdaemond change the documentation on how to handle postgres authentication, and I can't find documentation on this anywhere.

I know that instead of separate arguments I need to use PGSQL_CONNECTION string, but no idea about which parameters to give it.

Mark Zbikowski led the MS-DOS 2.0 project, and he sat down with a stopwatch while Aaron Reynolds and Chris Peters tried to swap floppy disks on an IBM PC as fast as they could.

They couldn’t do it under two seconds.

So the MS-DOS cache validity was set to two seconds. If two disk accesses occurred within two seconds of each other, the second one would assume that the cached values were still good.
