Weed/Wildflower Wednesday
One skill for gardeners to develop is recognizing weeds and intentional plantings apart, long before the flowers show. Young shoots are much easier to remove than well-established weeds.
Likewise, pulling out young fall-flowering New England Asters like these would not be my personal preference. This is a well-established plant with last year's stalks still poking through. Elsewhere beside my house, there are more, new asters coming in for the first time. Fall glory!

To be honest, this sounds like it overlooks the recommendation, "Don't let perfect stand in the way of good."
It seems that the internet has served well connecting me with hundreds of people through the years, adding value to my life. That value might not be "perfect", but it has improved my mental state.
Art, for me, stands as a great example. How many sketches must one do before showing the work to others?
