@andyc it is more or less a return, though I never was a poweruser of it. Over the last year or so I have had to walk down some weird roads and used some weird editors but #emacs is the one I want to use. I guess I saw the light. It's my life I'll use the tools that I like no matter what the cool folk are using

@andyc yes I am/was @whistlewright. I guess I had too many accounts floating around with that handle after the identica/pumpio bifurcation and no one could find the right one so I just started over somewhere along the line

@andyc likewise... But I have a feeling that git is about to be part of my future somehow. It just keeps popping up.

@andyc I've never been impressed by gnus. I'll check both of these out. Thanks for the tip.

Ok, I got a handful of rss feeds into #Gnus. It is still workable, though it is not really my favourite way to see the feeds. I will add a couple more feeds tomorrow and work on the email. I might be ready to start using #emacs for work in a day or two... I still need to re-learn the basics #org-mode

I am not sure where I will be going on tomorrow's #emacs adventure. I need to get email set up. I want to try mu and mu4e for that. I also want to get a feed reader setup. Probably just setup Gnus for that though I am sure there are better readers than that. Still debating the Telegram app...

@alpacaherder Actually I hadn't thought of that. I found one named "epubreader" that works. I'll look into pandoc bridge for fun

Thinking about adding a #telegram app to my emacs. I found a package but I pretty much quit using Telegram after reading about the cryptominer thing that is going on.
