@Wanyo In fact the BLU R1 HD is the one I'm using.

Rooted and cleaned-up. But I'm not sure the newest one can be rooted as easily anymore, BLU has patched the bootloader to remove the debugging part.

Xiaomi make really GREAT phone, just check it's a SnapDragon inside (usually advertised). Like this one:
