Alpine does not use SELinux for a reason. It's security that is too complex to be useful. For security to be useful, the end-user must be able to understand it, otherwise they will just break it somehow.

I don't like the idea of systemd to want to do everything, but I like the simplicity to set a (basic) daemon.

Notify was also quite interesting (just quite big as a dependency, hopefully with autotool and cmake you can easily let the user choose to use it or not).

I think their idea was to push people to use Environment file instead of variables.

I love PostgreSQL triggers !

So easy to keep a database with the data you need, keeping column that are programmatically populated, doing denormalization directly with the database itself ...

@kaniini I would think most of the basic feature could be documented the same way (like ExecPreStart, ExecStart etc ...)

Most service don't need really that much to get started and working.

Maybe some kind of basic support for basic feature, I know people would love that. (I would).
