@alexl@bob Hi, I had an issue with this plugin. Still have (https://framagit.org/hubzilla/core/issues/1320) One user told me he deactivated the addon (I suppose he meant "deleted"), then reactivated it and everything began to federate properly. So far this method didn't work for me... My channel (https://zotum.net/channel/releasenotes) federates via ActivityPub but fails for diaspora. Try deleting and reinstalling the addon, perhaps it will start sending to Mastodon / Pleroma. The plugin also has an issue with properly adding tags.
This is the first blog post about Marmota, a distributed and Free Software alternative to Spotify (and by extension the majority of the music streaming services)
@hypolite Yeah, same story. My first was III, and I could play neither II nor IV afterwards. It's not the game but the memories of playing (and people you played with) that matter :) BTW, it seems Friendica now adds the handle 👍 - who the comment is addressed to here in Mastodon. Previously there were no handles in direct comments from Friendica, which looked funny in Mastodon timeline (as if people were talking " to themselves").
This is interesting. Among the Samsung Stack Zero grant winners there's Katzenpost, "conducting research and writing libraries" for #mixnetworks (#Loopix).

@cwt Do you mean random users? In Mastodon, server running latest version will have an explore folder (server.com/explore), and there's also https://communitywiki.org/trunk. In Friendica and Hubzilla they have similar user directories (Friendica example: https://dir.friendica.social/directory/people). Both Friendica and Hubzilla also have forums - groups where one can meet like-minded people. In diaspora the only way is searching for specific hashtags to find users who write about these things.
Wow, if you have access to a running ubuntu laptop, and you put it in suspend mode, and then remove the hardware, you can just log on to the running system afterwards (no password needed) and look at every still open/cached application, extract passwords kept in RAM (full disk encryption, anybody?), etc. It's been wontfixed for a couple of months: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/1777415
@hankg :D I spent a minute thinking whether "hobbies" is the right category for such a link. Perhaps "Medicine" would be better. But there're no other medicine related Mastodon servers ATM, so.. hobbies. 😅
@href Hi! It seems diaspora servers keep sneaking in to fediverse.network. A bunch of them already: https://fediverse.network/diaspora Would you consider adding this link to main page list, please, for easier discoverability?
@drequivalent 🤔 Проще, конечно, найти тех, кто такое делает и не по цене "индивидуального заказа". Но любопытства ради посмотрю, сколько такие станки нынче стоят
Wow. Did you know that executives of the Amazon Ring company can get unfiltered, round-the-clock live feeds from the customers who have a Ring camera at home? https://theintercept.com/2019/01/10/amazon-ring-security-camera/ This kind of centralized storage and processing of video feeds of all customers is a huge problem
