Agree with your take on it. I think the issue is the guy is 100% about white nationalism and saving his people's culture and society, so everything he looks at is through that lens. Because of this, to him it looks like JP dropped the ball—the most important ball: speak the "truth" about THE JEWS.

For the record, I think the Jewish question is interesting, but I don't answer it with an Semitic view. I think their flourishing is yet to be truly understood.

He's disappointed that Peterson didn't go for the kill when presented a question on Jewish control of the world. I haven't seen anyone go after JP for not being "right" enough.

Don't think Peter was saying Peterson is Joel, but that for people who find a "faith" through his work that faith is similar to the faith Osteen is pushing. I don't think Peterson is pushing ANY faith at all and I love that he's intellectually honest in his approach to Christianity, Judaism, and others. In the end, Gnosis is a sort of spiritualism but it's salvation through knowledge. Clearly, Peterson has rather mystical aspects to his message.

@temporaryDouchebag First off, a guy plugging his book is hardly capitalist. Authors, writing, and even mercantile activity existed well before capitalism.

Second, I thought the author gave Peterson a decent amount of credit for his handling of the bible, especially since the author is a Christian.

I can understand the desire to find fault with the piece, but for me it was a generous critique. I like Peterson, and I'm a Christian. The author touched on a number of things I find interesting.

This is for my Jordan Peterson fans here. Well written and a more generous and useful critique than I've seen. What say you?

@Johnny_of_the_swamp Hey Johnny—thanks for asking. Unfortunately, the feed is going to be quiet for some time. I've had to decide if TCR was going to be a real project for me or not, meaning should I go deeper with it at the expense of other, unrelated, work I'm doing. I decided that I wasn't willing to sacrifice my other work. It was, and continues to be, a hard choice as I loved doing it.

It's beautiful, no? Looks like the Western Cape—used to live in that region when we lived in Cape Town. So lovely. I'd be there now if it were not for the violence and crime. It would sure beat the sub zero loozer life I'm living now. lol
