My 286’s BIOS appears to have successfully formatted my 512mb CompactFlash card! I was able to grab its geometry using fdisk on my Linux laptop.

Heard about a podcast where they collaboratively play modern IF, which sounds thoroughly up my alley, but then they ruin it by being the sort of people who encounter a talking fish in an obviously whimsical short story and go "Whaaaaaaaaaa??! Does my character have schizophrenia!?"

Getting persistent emails from a for-profit American university wanting me to update the link page from someone's 2001 Geocities site that I'm mirroring on glorioustrainwrecks to include a link to their financial aid page

Really tempted to create a new page to link to multiple articles about how for-profit unviersities are typically awful scams that ruin their students' lives with the name of that school in the link text
