Apparently my subconscious has spoken and I want to learn more about Rust.

revolutionize (v) -- To change something that does not need to be changed in order to charge money for its replacement.
scale (v) -- A surprisingly effective excuse not to do something that any non-tech company would do. "We would prefer not to foment genocide in Myanmar, but content moderation simply does not scale."

@michel_slm @sungo @rugk Thank you, but I need to clarify:
What you heard: "I am in the market for replacing Google products like mail, calendar, and contacts"
What I said: I might be in the market for calendar and contacts.
I already have mail figured out. I don't want a mail service that tacks on calendar and contacts as an afterthought.
Also: I'm not ready to move yet. Google calendar does way more for me than just show me an agenda for the day.
Thanks again.

The New York Times have been on Universal Music for covering up the fire that destroyed an extreme number of original master recordings.
They released a list of artists that may be affected. The list is sobering.

@zigg Excel is like the weed-whip and julienne fries maker of dates. Don't get me started on how that thing really makes date handling a pain in the ass.

It's nice to see that while we might not be able to pick a winning candidate out of this line-up that we are making a strong case fro the Voight Kampf test replacing the Turing Test for determining intelligence.

This whole debate is akin to thinking someone is rather suave and sophisticated and then bring invited to their house where they show you their Velvet Elvis collection and their collection of rare rutabaga sculptures.

Can we all agree that when they make the Time-Life collection of indie RPGs that I should be the spokesperson in the infomercial?

Pretty sure the winner of this debate was Jack Daniels and Jim Beam, because we're going to need it.

We turned it off to watch Archer 1999 because frankly until the Democrats get their shit together and unite behind something other than "we are not 45" then we're in for a ride awakening come 2020.
I've seen some promising politicians that will be forces to be reckoned with in five years, but we need strong candidates now.
