One of our sons got married. It was outside and too hot but they're happy so that's good.

All my projects have dust on them so that's not great.

Otherwise, work has happened. It's been very effective, but very taxing.

@randomgeek varying degrees of success on a few different cherry trail tablets - there was a cheap NuVision tablet that was a "Microsoft signature" device last couple years that I had all the devices working, but performance sucked. This one performance seems decent (4gb ram) but the hardware is guaranteed to be funky, because they tout JBL sound and Dolby Atmos and, well, it's Lenovo

I ended up with another x86-64 tablet (a Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro) falling into my possession recently with an ancient Android on it, so yet again I am faced with trying to divine what weird hardware Lenovo chose to use so I can wedge a real os on it instead. I've gotten Ubuntu running at this point, but no audio, touchscreen, orientation, or battery yet (nor the built-in dlp projector, but that's the least of my concerns). Might poke it some more later.
