There is a lot of food, though. If I was 289lb instead of 189lb, I could eat all this in one meal. Hopefully, the salad will still be edible at dinner time.
#GS3 decided he wanted attention also, so he put on a different pair.

lnxw48a1I had a #videochat tonight with #GS3, #GS4, and #GS5. The older two have birthdays coming up. The almost 4 year old told me about earthquakes and a storm that gave him a headache … which seemed pretty dramatic, so he may have embellished a bit. The almost 2 year old had a whole conversation of one word responses. His vocabulary is expanding. He also brought me his newest toy (some sort of stuffed animal with electronics that flash lights, make noises, and move … reminded me of Gremlins from the 1980s movie)
The TV was on, so the almost 4 year old was distracted (the almost 2 year old also, but much less), but they talked until (and partway through) dinnertime.

lnxw48a1I drove through Birmingham #AL recently. Nowhere near the traffic of Los Angeles or Atlanta, but still got hung up for a while at 08:30. From Bham to the North, it was sunny, but to the South, it was overcast and drizzling, with more rain the further South you went. I didn’t make it as far as Mobile, so I don’t know if that continued indefinitely.
But seriously, I’m not going to involve myself in any potential criminal activity, not even as a known and identified individual who witnessed and/or reported it. I’m happy to report this particular incident, but I am NOT going to testify in court or even submit to police questioning.
@clacke There's another benefit: we spend a lot of effort on #IPv4 NAT-punching for audio/video/game streams and conferencing and #peer-to-peer software. And techpeeps are called upon to assist family and friends when it fails, which is free labor for Zoom and Netflix etc.
Much of that would evaporate in an #IPv6 focused Internet.
