    @fu If Donut and Genesis both have little hope of repaying their debts, even chapter 11 may be irresponsible. They should file chapter 7 and liquidate, rather than wasting remaining assets on trying to keep the businesses going.

    I installed #I2P and I2Pd on an #Android tablet. I went to the built-in addressbook and found that many of the sites listed no longer exist.

    There were a few private gitea forges, a couple of inactive blogs, and so on. They can keep the current addressbook as a "historical" section, but the the main list should be updated 1-4X per year to prune dead sites.

    This is good news, but it comes far later than it should. Heavy tanks and other advanced weapons--including aircraft and missiles--should already be in the hands of Ukrainian forces fighting to push #Russia's invasion forces and mercenaries out of their country.

    It isn't just Germany that should have responded appropriately last year and didn't. The #USA and #UK and #France all bear just as much responsibility for the continued death and destruction in Ukraine.

    I used to visit the area of Monterey Park and Alhambra and some nearby cities with my friends when I was much younger. The area was just starting to become an ethnic haven for Chinese ancestry residents ... and some other Asian ancestries to some extent.

    4% COLA takes effect as of the next pay period. I don't think that matches last year's price inflation rate, but it is considerably better than no raise at all. (See for example: teachers in lower income districts, who go without raises for years, while do-nothing administrators continue to get lavish increases year after year.)

    My only interaction with #SSB ( #Secure_ScuttleButt, not #Single_Sideband ) has been through #Manyverse, so take this with a grain of salt. That said, when I joined, you'd go to a list of "pubs" and copy an invitation code, so you could see and be seen by other people.

    Now, they're using (usually limited topic) "rooms", and most of the pubs are gone. The public rooms list is small.

    It makes it unattractive, because the only way for most people to participate is to host a room / pub server. As a result, I deleted Manyverse from my devices.

    Due to changes in #sonTwo's work schedule, we're going to try to have our #videochats on Saturday and Sunday mornings for a while. A couple of co-workers recently became ex-co-workers, so the remaining crew has additional hours. (And since he's working on full-time and two part-time jobs, the additional funds are welcomed.)
