@bobjonkman @bobjonkman One positive is that some #Twitter clients are now advertising #Mastodon clients. I wish they'd also look at making clients for #GNUsocial, #Misskey, #PixelFed and so on, as not everyone supports the Mastodon API.
!Friendica Admins As you might have heard, there are issues with the Twitter API. Several favourite clients stopped working, while others (still) do. By now there hadn't been any word if there is some massive Problem or if this was some deliberate action.
Whatever is causing these issues, at least my connection still works. How about yours? Is the Twitter connector on your systems still running?
A Dutch supermarket chain introduced slow checkouts for lonely, chatty customers.
Back when there was still a #Kmart here, they had a single checkout lane with both chatty customer and chatty employees. I stopped going entirely, because even if they had my desired product, it wasn't worth the wait. Maybe they needed a slow lane and a fast lane.
Oddly, I think I sort of dreamed about building a home videogame console somewhere in Mexico 🇲🇽. It was odd. We were interviewed by TV stations and newspapers and I got to tell them that we wanted to work with certain big companies to use their products and services in our offering.
BTW: We don't need FediFinder on Friendica. In the Twitter adoon settings you can activate a similar functionality that automatically follows the fediverse accounts of your Twitter contacts who put their fediverse address in their profiles.

lnxw48a1My use of #Matrix has really plummeted. After the last time that it wiped my bridged #IRC rooms, I decided that it isn't worth the hassle of re-adding them every 30-60 days. So now, have a few Matrix rooms (most of which are completely inactive) and one #Gitter room (bridged, I think, though the plan is for Gitter to speak the Matrix protocol soon).
I left the #Python space and the rooms it contains because one of the admins / moderators was abusive toward a room member.
