I think I like my #Orange_Pi 5 better. Weโre past the point where just having the #Raspberry_Pi name was good enough. Iโm also looking at a #Banana_Pi model with 4GiB of RAM, mostly as an equivalent of the RPi 4.
As you may know, there has been a long shortage of #RPi boards, enabling other #SBCs to proliferate. Also, there was an issue where they hired a former surveillance cop, then mishandled their response to the community that was justifiably concerned about it.
From what Iโve seen so far, contaminated formula caused two confirmed deaths and several more are suspected.
My nephewโs son is getting formula because of some problems that he had with motherโs milk. I definitely support the FDA improving its inspection process and putting the companies on blast for their penny pinching slipshod production processes.
When I was in high school, I knew a guy that decided to learn some acrobatics when he was about ten. He started by trying to jump, spin all the way around head over heels, and land on his feet in the same spot. By the time I met him, he was about five years into it, and he could do amazing stunts like you'd expect from a circus performer.
He had, of course, broken a few bones along the way. His younger brother did not do any of those tricks.
It is amazing what people can do when they set their minds to the task.

lnxw48a1When #sonOne was about 12, he decided to learn to throw knives. He took a knife his grandfather had given him and spent about an hour a day in the garage, throwing the knife at the wall. By the time his mom figured out why there were so many holes in the wall, he was pretty good at hitting a target tip-first at that distance.
A year or so later, he taught himself to throw pennies, spinning so fast they buzzed and curved. This time he practiced in his bedroom. By the time I realized what was going on, he could hit a target and punch though drywall or hollow doors.
When people are persistent enough, they can do surprising things.
> Harvard senteces are collection of sample phrases that are used for standardized testing of Voice over IP, cellular, and other telephone systems. They are phonetically balanced sentences that use specific phonemes at the same frequency they appear in English.
@fu The bacterium they are concerned about killed several babies within the past 2-3 years. The real issue is forbidding imports and even new domestic competitors from displacing entrenched corporations' market share.
That said, I alerted lazyNephew to stock up. Otherwise, he'll call my sister in a panic about feeding his son.
@fu From experience, mlb.tv blocks many #VPN Ip addresses. Most recent experience is with Mullvad from a hotel network ... could not view via VPN, and the hotel was doing screwy things so that streaming wasn't working without VPN.
