I don't think any of us have pulled all the pieces together and fully realized how depraved and desperate Putin's regime is.

Funny thing. Once there's an actual event, the conspiracy theorists go silent. What do you think the operators were doing? Probably not making pharmaceuticals. So what else could they have been doing?

Logan, one of the indoor cats, got outside sometime last week. He's been coming to the door, but if someone comes near to open it, he runs.

Meanwhile, one of the outdoor cats has started running in when someone opens the door. He doesn't stay long. He just looks around and then he's ready to go back outside. I think he's just trying to establish that the doorway is not the limit of his allowable territory.

One outdoor cat came up and sniffed my arm hanging down from the chair. Shortly after, another one came up on the other side and started licking my arm. It was hot, and I've been sweating, so this may be their way of telling me I need a bath.

Untangling the role of vitamin D3 in autism spectrum disorders https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/19381980.2017.1387702 [www tandfonline com]

This seems to implicate some variety of #HPV affecting #D3 processing and also causing #ASD. However, it seems speculative ... more about correlations than proof of causation. However, I do know that some doctors recommend extra vitamin D for patients with ASD, so maybe there is something to it and this just doesn't find the proof.

I remember a commercial from the early 1970s for a product called gobbledegook. It was some sort of mold that you squeezed in some semi-liquid foodlike substance, put down the top and cooked it for a few minutes.

When finished, the result was something like a gummy worm.

I don't recall anyone I knew getting one.

That was the first time I had heard the word. I did not yet know that its origins go back to the 1940s. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/gobbledegook [www dictionary com]
