    During a training at #sonTwo's work a teargass like substance was released. Most employees were okay soon after, but he and one other person required medical treatment.

    I used to work with a guy named Eddie. Eddie told about being sent somewhere where the only place to stay was a motel with enough space underneath the door for opossums and raccoons to crawl into the room.

    Article claims #MariaDB's for-profit arm is headed for bankruptcy after a merger that the author claims was basically a hostile takeover. Fortunately, mariadb.com and the corporation don't own the crucial copyrights over the FLOSS code. Those are owned by mariadb.org and the foundation.

    In the meantime, the new owners, having fired the founder (Monty, who also founded #MySQL) are now lawyering up in preparation for legions of lawsuits. Or at least, that's what the article says.

    My #Orange_Pi 5 has 16G of RAM, which is as much as both of my laptops put together. I haven't put it through any paces yet, but the resource monitor says it isn't even breaking a sweat yet.

    #NOAA / #NWS alerting: #tornado warnings for parts of #KS and #NE. At least one confirmed in Central #Kansas near Emporia.

    If you don't yet have one, get a NOAA weather radio and use the "SAME" code to set it for your county. That way, in addition to your cellphone's alert tone, you'll get alerted with tones and speech.

    I have never seen one, but everyone tells me that #tornadoes are no joke.
