lnxw48a1I'm not expecting any real punishment against the guy that torched five predominantly Black churches in Louisiana. He's the son of a sheriff's deputy, so the "law enforcement" community will support him. He might get probation and mandatory anti-arson classes (like you'd give a thirteen year old that got caught playing with matches).
Time to do some research. Such a heavy bandwidth consumer is going to have an online trail. Is #Semrush malicious, or just clueless about the relative amount of bandwidth they're consuming.
@verius @camoceltic While that is true on the surface, #PulseAudio is so broken that the only way to make reliable audio on Linux is going to be to add multiplexing into #ALSA itself. PA has never worked reliably and it never will.
A directory (folder) with that many files should probably have those files moved into subdirectories (subfolders), unless the directory is used only for some script or other automated process anyway. Humans have problems finding the desired file out of a list with that many members.
I was up until 03:00 this morning because I found a coin laundry. My body is protesting the lateness and the fact that it had been over 24 hours since I had slept. But I'm glad to have clean clothes.
There’s currently no “off” switch, but apparently the devs reassure that scans are local and not “cloud” based. But this still has consent and privacy implications
