@lnxw48a1 Strangely enough, they're not trying to block the seventh (current) draught of TLS ECH.
I guess they're approaching what has adoption and gives them "problems" at the present moment.

A "hippopostulate" is a really big idea.

That would be a comedy. We'd all be laughing once we saw how poorly some things are implemented and how legacy choices have led to some of the most puzzling behaviors of modern Windows.

Back in the WinXP days I heard a rumor that they were thinking about rewriting Windows as a layer atop one of the BSD kernels (because the Windows internals were/are so tangled), but then came WinVista, Win7, and by the time Win8 and Win8.1 came out, no one was saying this any more.

What? The cop that hid behind his car during a school shooting gets his job back? https://news.yahoo.com/broward-cop-fired-hiding-during-152553631.html [news yahoo com]

What happens when he gets called to an armed robbery? I’m sorry, but the guy’s conduct indicates he is not suited for the job. Maybe he can be a night watchman at a construction site, where he just has to let potential thieves know someone is watching and willing to call police.

It's a constant torrent of twisting any story around making Trump look bad and it seems that normalfaggots are buying into it.

For example, one of the recent trends these past two weeks has involved just about every country receiving defective masks and tests from China. Off the top of my head, I remember countries like Singapore, the UK, Italy, Germany, Norway, and Canada receiving faulty shit from China. The response is always the same:
    >China is sending defective goods
    >Why don't we make those goods ourselves?
    >The blame is on China, those poor poor medical workers aren't getting proper PPE!
    >Why are we relying on China?

But when it comes to exactly the same stories in the US, it's always:
    >Trump let this happen, he didn't act early enough!
    >How could Trump buy defective masks instead of encouraging local businesses?
    >The blame falls solely on Trump, he hates medical workers!
    >Trump 100% killed and eviscerated the pandemic response department because he hates Obama and thus hates black people!

I've legitimately seen every single one of those reactions from normalfags on social media sites across the internet the past two weeks. I'd ask "who could honestly fall for these blatant media lies" but apparently the answer is "just about everyone somehow."

I am interested, but I'm a little resource-constrained, so I may have to throw $PROJECT onto an already in use VPS.

@sl Not as far as I know. The #Matrix server where the old #LoadAverage room was hosted is gone. Perhaps ask @xrevan86 whether an official LA room is something he wants to deal with. Otherwise, you can create an unofficial room on whatever Synapse (or other Matrix server) you use.

@sl #Mastodon version 3.x and later (and #Pleroma version 2.x and later) does not use #OStatus as a federation protocol, so they broke federation with #GNUSocial. There's a little more work to do before the release of GS v.2.0, which adds #ActivityPub support.

Any system of community governance which relies upon the good of your fellow humans is going to be destined to failure, because we are, by nature, selfish, rather than altruistic, in general.
