I'm not going to look for a link, but one of the Pleroma devs was upset that Bob was shipping their software with a preinstalled blocklist without any notice that the blocklist was his choices and no easy option to skip it. Soon after that, I stopped seeing Bob's posts.

WhatsApp uses code which cannot be independently audited, therefore, it should be considered 100% insecure.
