deloresthe majority of people i talk to i dont agree wtih politically. and i dont really care about that. its mostly about whether you act like a dick or not. you gotta outweigh the bad with the good. if i feel you hold a genuine resentment towards me, i'll unfollow. simple as that.

lnxw48a1If you are really concerned about participation by ethnic minorities in your project, drop the anti-religious bigotry. The “hub” of the Black community is the churches. Likewise, the local parish church plays a big role in the Hispanic community. If your project is hostile toward that, then it is hostile toward **US**.
@lnxw48a1 One of the best things about ISO 8601 (compared to DD.MM.YYYY) is that it is consistent with the time notation as well: YYYY > MM > DD > hh > mm > ss.
Ever-growing list of websites that don’t work at all or show a plain white page without #JavaScript is a testament to the cesspool that is modern web development
I browse without JS on mobile to save my meager bandwidth (8mb for JS libs from 10 different sources), to save battery life, and to avoid the deluge of on-page malarkey that make most sites unusable
This seems to be something fairly new. Years ago, people in the Fediverse had conversations, even with people whose views differed from their own. Going farther back, even Twitter users used to have conversations.

AnnahIf there's one thing I've learned about how people use social media, it's that most people don't actually use it to have conversations. In fact, when people try to have conversations with most of the individuals on social media, it becomes uncomfortable and they seek any means by which to suppress it.
@xrevan86 No, you were not wrong to reply to something that popped up in your feed. The OP is wrong to expect people _not_ to reply to public posts.
Now, I don't see the full thread, and I don't care to try, so I don't know whether I'd agree with your comment, but the fact that you commented is not wrong. From what I can see, you were respectful, too.
@xrevan86 @schestowitz I'm not a fan of #wikileaks, but the US's obsession with blaming the #USA presidential election results on #Russia ignores the most important factors: that the twin parties chose the two most disliked candidates in modern history and that Ms Clinton was dragging 30 years of scandals behind her. I honestly don't think any amount of election interference could have more impact than those two factors.
Both parties should just resolve to choose better candidates next election and stop pretending that everything is Putin's fault.
