But I do have to say that moving instances really showed me how active my followers are. From the 225 followers on the old instance, only 56 followed me on the new one, so far.. #mastodon#instances
Dear followers of my account on Mastodon.xyz. Since this instance became too buggy for me, I moved to infosec.exchange in the hope that I will have a better experience there. If you get a follow from @lx , know it's me π Feel free to follow me back there π
I think I should switch my instance to somewhere else. I am already annoyed that every few weeks I can't login because the server time drifted and my 2FA doesn't work anymore. π
@whippedcream@TheKinrar If you think about how badly designed Mastodon is, this is not a surprise. I mean just think about how every status contains the whole user profile (bio etc.) π
I totally missed this one: "Tesla Goes Bankrupt Palo Alto, California, April 1, 2018 -- Despite intense efforts to raise money, including a last-ditch mass sale of Easter Eggs, we are sad to report that Tesla has gone completely and totally bankrupt. So bankrupt, you can't believe it." β Elon Musk via https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/980566101124722688
@iain funny that you mention that. I just started experimenting with it today. But it's really annoying to find a good Linux desktop client that works out of the box where I don't need to install third-party repos and the plugins actually work.
@cobra2 I used it recently, so it should still be possible. Maybe they updated their infrastructure and for some reason your key got lost? I would remove it and add it again, maybe that fixes it? Or maybe your client is using the wrong key by accident?
