Since this instance became too buggy for me, I moved to infosec.exchange in the hope that I will have a better experience there.

I think I should switch my instance to somewhere else. I am already annoyed that every few weeks I can't login because the server time drifted and my 2FA doesn't work anymore. 🙄

@MightyPork @whippedcream had trouble following me, but I guess that is because mastodon.xyz is not working properly.

I wonder if other instances are fine.. 🤔

@whippedcream @TheKinrar If you think about how badly designed Mastodon is, this is not a surprise. I mean just think about how every status contains the whole user profile (bio etc.) 😂

@iain funny that you mention that. I just started experimenting with it today. But it's really annoying to find a good Linux desktop client that works out of the box where I don't need to install third-party repos and the plugins actually work.

@cobra2 I used it recently, so it should still be possible. Maybe they updated their infrastructure and for some reason your key got lost? I would remove it and add it again, maybe that fixes it? Or maybe your client is using the wrong key by accident?
