@phildobangnz It was basically that.
-
@phildobangnz Heh. Nvm... it doesn't need an answer anyway.
-
@phildobangnz Haha! Oh dear... what are you like?
-
@phildobangnz Mhm.
I am slowly calming down now, at least. Qvitter helps. Heh... thanks for the reminder. I could do with a treat except that I had one earlier. ;;
-
@1iceloops123 @phildobangnz RIP. Just curious if it was deliberate or a misspelling. But yeah, it is pleroma that you mean.
-
@1iceloops123 @phildobangnz Huh?
Also, why do you call pleroma by plemora? Is that deliberate?
-
@phildobangnz Tbh, it did come to mind that you might be worrying about it so I wanted to put your mind at ease.
It's hard to take it easy when I basically had an anxiety attack. Thanks again for the sentiment though.
-
@1iceloops123 @phildobangnz Mastodon is the one I least like. Heh. It's just information overload.
-
I'm not sure I'd even be here if it weren't for qvitter.
-
@1iceloops123 @phildobangnz Yeah. Like I said, qvitter is familiar and comforting to me. None of the other FE's can compete for me.
-
@phildobangnz No worries, it wasn't about you but I appreciate the sentiment. I didn't reply to your other posts because I've just been so consumed in these feelings I've been having. My mind just snapped when it comes to the pleroma project and how discontent I feel. So bad I've had to come back over here for some comfort and a little vent. When things get really distressing, I need qvitter.
-
@epsiloco Th-thanks. I appreciate that. I really need to calm down.
-
@foxhkron Apparently it would need to be re-written from scratch because the code itself is so bad.
-
@epsiloco No. I'm very upset.
-
If I could have a qvitter FE attached to a pleroma BE, I would seriously be over the moon. It would be like breathing fresh air to me. Coming here was just that in the early days. What might just be software to some people is more than that to me. This is my window to the world, and I need somewhere that I can feel at ease rather than distressed. And then I get this increasing feeling of being a stranger... that I'm not the audience. Fedi keeps feeling closed up and unwelcoming, and I wish I could say otherwise.
-
I don't think I should be here right now. I feel very distressed.
-
@roka Aha... I think I've seen something like it before.
-
@phildobangnz In a way, it is hard to see the good about yourself. Especially when you are stuck in thought patterns that will beat you up and reinforce negative inner beliefs with external situations that prove itself. Negative stuff tends to remain, leaving a great impression... it goes unresolved. The positive stuff, you can just acknowledge and appreciate... and no need to think more on it because there are no problems presented. How you are? It might be worth expanding how you identify with yourself... try to make more compliments towards yourself, what you achieve. Boost yourself up more. Crack a joke that lifts you up rather than puts you down. See how that changes your outlook...
-
@phildobangnz Honestly, I feel like that is how it usually goes. It's a path you must tread alone, no one else can fix you... just provide some advice and support along the way. But the work has to come from within.

@phildobangnz Good to hear.
