@moonman Cheers. Then I'll be able to send you my new e-mail to change my accounts over to, or change their passwords and tell me through it. Idk.
-
@fl0wn Hmm. I had trouble finding moon's account on SPC following the side link on Contact Admin. :s
-
I think I've lost the history to my tox account now? Don't think what I picked out involves the account history now... rotten luck. Not that many use it, I guess.
-
@dude @moonman Yeah. I feel like I'm having some rotten luck right now. I could do with access to one of my other accounts before the migration or else I'll be stuck without it. I won't have a way to verify who I am with lain or moon.
-
Hey @moonman, is it okay if I use your xmpp server? I'd like to try and contact you through it but I don't know what server to use.
-
Interesting. Pleroma deals with viewing profiles with a number instead of the name like GS/qvitter does. Another difference. I prefer the name because it is easier to remember than a random number. :s
-
I don't really understand why some names don't show up when I'm trying to reply to them on qvitter.
-
There is the upside there. Then again, peoples jealousy is not a good thing to be bombarded with... trying to sabotage you just because you lucked out with being attractive. Don't think I want that. But I do agree that it is annoying what people will dismiss to pretend they aren't prejudiced... or perhaps to even downplay this out of jealousy. If attractiveness doesn't matter, would they need to feel as bad for not having it, for example?
-
@dude I did make an account on pleroma cucked me... but then the password I did recall for it, wasn't the right one. u_u I only have this instance until I get a hold of lain and moon for separate things. :')
-
I like listening to workout motivation amv's tbh.
-
Please feel free to send messages my way if you want to interact because I will have trouble with viewing the timeline like I normally do which makes interacting harder, alas.
-
I look forward to learning more about how to succeed at my life. I can do with more tools at my disposal.
-
@moonman I don't think these things just go away. It takes a lot to overcome, and even I don't know what will work for me or you best. I just hope that recognising my self-esteem issues will help me to come up with ways to overcome or live with it. To face it. I would rather be healthy though. It's just learning about how to get there and putting that knowledge into practice.
-
@maxmustermann Honestly? It does scream communist to me more than anything. With ration coupons and doing your bit for the war effort or having your fair share and no more which the government decided for you. If you understand more about sewing methods or fuel... it could be useful. Most of it went over my head though. It does give tips on how to make things last because that was what they wanted back then.

@rice That bar does sound cosy for a little socialising and drink. Just the ticket! Perhaps being as outgoing/talkative as you have been is what is the difference between us as well. I'm less inclined towards that so less opportunities. It's hard for me to tell when someone is being flirtatious or just friendly. I don't like to assume. I think a bar would be more scary for me than a dating site, but a dating site is overwhelming. It is easy to be swept away if you don't filter and direct who can contact you. If you don't know what you want from the experience or in a partner. It does require filtering and even then... I get the impression that a lot of guys will send messages out to every woman they can in the hopes of getting a reply back without even reading the bio. It does favour women to some degree in that regard.
-
@moonman I'm only just realising how deeply rooted my own complex about myself is... it is not good. I guess I feel guilty about it to some degree because it does effect my relationships with other people.
-
@maxmustermann The ones I finished reading or the others? The one I just finished is Make do and mend... it's basically a book that has combined the old WWII propaganda pieces about war rations in one place. It's interesting to learn a bit more about that. I'm not sure what Jordanetics is.
-
@lnxw48a1 @moonman Yes. Moon has always seemed friendly to me. I'd like to get to know him better than I do now.
-
@moonman That sucks. I can imagine that would reinforce bad messages about your appearance... especially if you start to believe what they say. Harder to avoid that when you internalise messages as a child before you have a proper defence against it.
-
Good news... I have finished at least two books that needed completing. Two more to read through that are urgent, and then another one... before I move on to the two books that bricky got with me in mind today. Looking forward to it... even if my wrists aren't!
