@lain @wakarimasen I know how experiencing tragedies of life goes. RIP.
-
@roko There are also sandy beaches in places! Especially if you head over to Cornwall, Devon or Dorset!
-
being an eu member is not "being co-operative with our neighbors" you have to have agency in order to co-operate with others. if youre being forced into it by bureaucrats you don't control that's not co-operation, it's like saying brainwashed alex at the end of a clockwork orange is actually moral even though he's being compelled
-
@roka I don't know but it is cute!
-
@ayy Nope. This is the closest and cheapest gym to me. It just takes me a while to walk there. I mean, it is a pain but what can you do?
-
Still... I'm glad that I managed to stay in the gym for over an hour. To get there and back. That is an achievement on its own given how nervous I actually get in these spaces.
-
@kaniini Replace it with another nervous habit? I can't really remember what I did... I still bite them from time to time when they get too long for my liking.
-
@thatbrickster Aww... but I like thinking of you. *Headpats*
-
@thatbrickster But we weren't even thought of yet!
-
If I'm honest, just the walk to the gym and back again was enough exercise. LOL. It reminds me of how long it used to take to get to work.
-
I chose a good day to be out I think. I hope next week isn't too bad.
-
Ehh... I feel like it would be a good idea just to go down earlier now. Figure things out for myself.
-
I'm far more interested in the human experience.
-
@wowaname That would probably bore me too. Following strict guidelines about what to teach my students on subjects I have no interest in... yaaawn.
-
Seriously... GCSE history was boring. It was all modern history which doesn't stimulate my brain. I was very disappointed.
-
Not to mention that they would cover lots of topics that would just bore me while I attended. That's what happened in history.
-
But both of those careers would require wasting lots of time and money at uni before I could even begin my career in the field. Boring.
-
I guess I could have been a good philosopher or psychologist, or something.
-
I'm exactly the kind of person to take a platitude and strip it down. Peel back the layers. Depending on my mood.
-
@zeta I just don't believe in certain things, especially in regards to friendship. You can mean well with it but still not be there. I still reach out to people though... god only knows why sometimes! Aha. But yes, I am trying to get at the fact that we can't always be there... only you can be there for yourself every time, and even that is tricky when you aren't in the right mindset. But only you experience your internal world. No one else can do it for you because then it would be their internal world they are experiencing rather than yours. It's better to be at peace with that level of loneliness.
