@wowaname @fl0wn @dtluna I don't know... what is wrong with how groups are implemented with gs/qvitter? I mean, aside from having to use classic to deal with the group settings.
-
@fl0wn @dtluna Yeah... *hinthint lain* :')
If pleroma included groups then maybe my group will grow in number since there are a few Brits that can't join in on the fun right now.
-
@fl0wn @moonman Yeah, things have been getting bad lately but I can't pinpoint where the problem lies there. I think I'd rather hold out right now... at least until things do become unbearable and the features can transport over without losing anything. I don't want to lose my groups because of the switch over.
-
@dtluna But I like gs.
-
@hakui Oh... I was on my bed but not in it then. Oops. :')
-
@fl0wn @sim @dtluna Damn. Any ideas what is causing it to go down so much? It didn't used to be like this. I have a preference for qvitter and perhaps GS, although in my mind I could compromise on the back end if it is better (Although there are still features to be added to pleroma which are missing here like my groups) but not the front end which is most familiar to me.
-
@fl0wn @moonman Ehh... I would still rather stick with what we have. So many instances are moving over or going that there soon won't be any GS instances. Maybe I'm feeling nostalgic or just not into change at this point. Plus I prefer qvitter...
-
@dtluna Meh. I just want a good app for gs. Still use andstatus.
-
To figure out a decent app for gs... Hmm.
-
@roko Unless it is a fantasy he enjoys... :')
-
@roko Apparently women are the ones doing the respeccin in the bedroom there.
-
@roko That's rather a specific fantasy to have...
-
Darn... I don't see an option to cancel seeing the emojis on qvitter.
-
Emojis were a mistake.
-
@lain Only they do!
-
Oh god... my thinking text has been ruined with emoji. RIP me.
-
@lain Could they be thinking the same thing you are about you? :thinking:
-
@augustus Hopefully this cycle will be broken as we improve each generation... or so I hope.
-
I have no doubt that people in the past went through many of these issues we have today. I don't imagine things were any rosier in the past... especially since somewhere down the generations, bad habits have been past on to what we have today.
-
How many of us can say that we have attentive parents, caregivers or teachers to guide us in life? Like the generations before us, we are expected to work things out by ourselves and integrate without being taught. We grew up through peers and the entertainment industry... what great examples for parents and adulthood they were!
