    SPC announcement. Under the "no gore" rule I am removing any existing posts related to the NZ shooter that include the shooter's video.

    No one is in trouble, the rules were not 100% clear on this point. but videos of murder regardless of gore factor, I still just can't allow here.

    You are still free to discuss the issue or link to the video/manifesto.

    Credible admonitions of illegal violence are still grounds for immediate account removal however.

      Freezepeach.xyz is shutting down forever. Effective: soon-ish.

      I know this goes against what I said, however circumstances changed.

      * The SPC Pleroma migration caused several problems. Problems I don't have the energy to fix for future migrations. Federation is hard, kids, respect people like Lain, Kaniini, Mmn, and Gargron.

      * The site accumulated even more problems than I had anticipated having to deal with.

      I am very sorry to the handful of people left semi-regularly using the site.

      If you have an account on Freezepeach, even a dormant one, and want either an archive of your posts, or your follower list in a format you can import into Pleroma or Mastodon, please contact me at moonman@shitposter.club.

      There has been a request to convert the site to a static format. This may happen.

    For the record, GNU Social -> Pleroma migration consists of both a set of Python data conversion scripts, and a set of changes made to Pleroma. I have only made the Python scripts publicly available, but they are NOT READY FOR PRODUCTION! Numerous changes were made when we went live, that have not been pushed to the public repository.

    This is in addition to the problems it is causing other Pleroma servers, which the Pleroma devs are working to remediate.

    In short NOTHING IS READY FOR RELEASE YET. I'll make a note when that changes.

    Here's the good news. I got most of the Elixir modifications working, probably 85% done, just a few more things to implement, a few oddities that I can't seem to fix but are minor. And the GS->Pleroma conversion scripts are 95% done, mostly only thorough testing is needed.

    Here is the bad news:
