I think the signal:noise issue is affected a lot by boosts, too. I toot some fairly ordinary things, but I try to take care over what I boost.

Actually, "would it change my process, and how?" is a super-important question, too.

Wondering about streaming as a substitute for company while I try to do some work. I'm a composer and not a visual artist, so would it be too boring?

I like an app called Regularly for recurrent-but-not-daily tasks, but it isn't anything near what you're looking for.

@distel I think it's Twidere being finicky but it's still super annoying.

So many ways to boil eggs. I always use hot start for hard boiled because I actually want to be able to peel them, but lots of sites assume cold start (because fewer break that way I guess?) and I should really just remember that it's about 12 minutes for hard boiled with a hot start at roughly sea level.

Soft boiled is a whole other game of course.
