Oops my cross fell out of the box

I want to formally apologize to anyone who I introduced to the fediverse under the guise of "there is less drama and outrage here than twitter".

It was true when I joined 7 months ago. These days? Not so much.

So turns out the "hide everything from [domain]" function is flawed, it allows follow requests.

Another thing what's flawed about instance mutes (done by the USER) is that I can't look at a list of what I've muted, nor unmute them in the interface anywhere.

That and I just found out that the mute list only displays up to 50 people you've muted max, it'll just bump people off the list if you have more.

Could someone more technically inclined look into this?

So apparently the mute list only displays 40-50 users at max. If I mute more, it just kicks off the bottom of the list.

Apps do this too, but if you keep scrolling down they just repeat the list from the top, letting you scroll down endlessly.

Reminder that there's nothing inherently wrong with liking anonymity and having anon accounts not tied to your RL identity in any way on masto or anywhere else on the internet

I hope we can not bring that shit mentality where anonymity = bad to mastodon, thankyouverymuch.
