Oh wow. Stallman mentioned governments running proprietary software and it just clicked. It's really really bad if they do, since they have a _duty_ to control their computers and the software they are running.

Business idea. Create a "company" that:

* does #freesoftware only, both consulting on existing software and developing new products
* primarily focuses on local governments, non-profits and the like
* has no office
* has no hierarchy and no bosses
* has no managers
* employs free software developers from the whole world
* maximize developer happiness
* minimize meetings and bureaucracy

The reason I quoted company is that it doesn't even have to be a legal entity. Call it community if you like.

Apparently 54% of swedish people are not trusting Facebook. But when asked if they would leave only 1% said yes.

So the meetup about #rust yesterday was pretty good. Biggest take away was that it's fairly straight forward to integrate rust with other languages.

What can _I_ do about other men harassing women? The first thing that comes to mind is to take personal responsibility so I'm not one of them. And of course speak up and call people out on their behaviors. Other than that, what should/could I do? It's a serious question, because I'd really like to do something about it.

@ajroach42 I wouldn't call it an implementation of DAT since it builds on top of modules from the dat project, but, semantics I guess :)

You can use DAT directly either with their own desktop app (https://github.com/datproject/dat-desktop) or on command line with https://github.com/datproject/dat.

Also trivial to use https://github.com/datproject/dat-node in any node application
