Any #Resonate members want to help test a self-hosted version of #Loomio that allows #multistakeholder proposals for #FairShares co-ops like ourselves.

We are hoping to use it for the upcoming #AGM - if we can get it tested for invitations need to go out this week!!

We are finalising the #evoting platform we are going to use for the #Resonate #AGM - it is looking like something akin to electionrunner.com (because it's pretty simple). #blockchain #dapps available don't look robust enough yet...

Just thought I'd ask for recommendations on #socialcoop before we decide.

Key criteria... our rules require that we can invite members to vote 14 days prior to the AGM itself.

After that the requirements are as you would imagine.

Any thoughts?

I really hope that the actors involved can start to look to the motivations/interests of each other and think about if there is a way forward together, rather than a split.

Though having said all that - I think given the reasons for the split (differences over governance effectively) this could be a positive long term. Hope #forkofftogether peeps have a look at the #socialcoop model (nascent as it is).

@dtluna @lain @ayy General experience with people (even pretty tech/compliance literate people) is that they think that #GDPR is a whole host of new principles, concepts and laws...

In reality, while there are definitely a few innovations (#dataportability baby!) it is really just a stronger restatement of the existing law - with consistent enforcement mechanisms across the #EU.

More hasn't changed, than has changed.

Anyone else thinking that #socialcoop as an instance has hit some sort of tipping point? (One of many to come I expect).

My feed now always has a healthy amount of recent toots - and conversations are becoming a little more visible.

I've definitely noticed a change against, say, three/four months ago.

I like the idea of open publishing of structures, and forking just like git.

There's an ongoing discussion about our structure, whether it is time to consider incorporation or should be keep working with the current model (Open Collective + Bylaws + Loomio).

#Resonate is hq'd in Ireland, but our operations are based in Berlin (Founder and development team are there).
