#Happinessis learning that the 85-year-old book you borrow from the library: - was penned by a personage your favourite public librarian portrayed in a high school history-and-language arts project; - is available on archive.org - has a cocktail named for it, so you can sip your cocktail while you finish what you couldn't when you returned the library book.
When I win lotto, one thing I'd like to do is donate very small amounts to GoFundMes while claiming to be yesteryear entertainers, like $1 from Henry Silva, Johnny Mathis, Susan Dey, Delta Burke, Rene Simard, Mitsou, Julian Cope, or Arsenio Hall.
@sean The US versions of shows seem to be 'this is too subtle or too edgy for Peoria, Illinois. Let's remove that edge with the 'cement goose wardrobe' Americanization of humour.
Slept after listening to Julia Darling's five postie stories on #BBCRadio, dreamt I visited my copine Jane in #Rugby where folks wore jumpers and coats. "Your July is like my April," I said. Then a fast dissolve to Toronto, where it was even colder, and I spotted and "stalked" Richard Ayoade trying to ask him if he knew Don McKellar. Ayoade was studying film for his Ph.D. I at last seized him, tickled him, he fell into my arms and told me he is a family man.
I spoke Japanese to a woman at a #geocaching event (she was of Japanese origin, I wasn't trying to be obnoxious) today. She spoke Japanese back at me and bowed. Then a European-origin woman said to her about my #Nihongo conversation "You didn't expect this, did you?"

@edebill If you buy a true green or a forest green ink sample, or if you have some samples already to trade, let me know. I'll upload to my site a list of what I have.
@edebill I cleaned out six pens, washed out another two this wee. I have thirty-three ink samples and Goulet Pens is holding its Inkapalooza special for its second week.
I am unhappy with this "scan your government ID before we let you book" policy of Airbnb. I had offered cash and an in-person meeting to show my ID to secure a booking. Bah bah. I feel so defeated I'm keen to profit either on fighting surveillance and improper handling of data or making others submit to it.
