@hund Yes, first it gave me an error message (something with default display not...) but after logging in to the DE it started to work. However using .xinitrc with that command did not help. Anyhow it's fixed now, thank you for the suggestion.

Why didn't you try to make a backup first? After that you could have messed around with it (as there is a safety net) and try to flash a new ROM.

I don't intend to sound harsh, but the truth is that android was designed from ground up (after g* bought that linux project) to suck out all your (personal) data from the device - with or without your consent and with or without a g* account.

I think that's a great hardware anyhow, wish you fun with it!

I had an issue after a distro install, this: https://bugs.alpinelinux.org/issues/6963

I tried the solution in the last post and put that file in the folder. After that it got stuck at login screen after reboot - no keyboard, no mouse.

What would you do? How to get a command line? Any ideas?
