@federicomena I've been thinking about doing this. My thought on usage was that I'd follow by blog, and instead of making a Toot "Blog entry foo" I'd retoot it. Then comments on that toot could be comments on the blog entry.

But, I'm not sure that works entirely with static. As no one would be tracking all the responses across the Fediverse to display them.

My seven year old was shoulder surfing as I was entering my 2FA code. He then turned to me:

"Now I know your password!"

I pointed him to the timer and told him to watch it count down. As it cycled the codes his face drooped in disappointment.

@paco I like the idea of what you're saying here, but I think that it would be better if instead of using negative wording between the levels a positive tone was used. I think this would encourage people to grow, where currently it looks like someone is trying to feel superior.

Something like: Start ➙ Knowing things to be afraid of ➙ Builds to ➙ Knowing technology insecurities…

@scott I have this up on my wall to make sure I realize that dashboards can get out of hand. Also, it is funny. Unfortunately the web preview doesn't show how it generates different boards every 5 minutes.

@patdavid @paperdigits @n8 I haven't talked with @ryangorley about that recently. That was more for user forums rather than development lists though.

@paperdigits everyone says that, do you know anyone who uses discourse via email?

@tinker I find as they get older their activities get more intensive. Probably depends on the kid. I need a book worm.

@n8 we're looking at moving the Inkscape lists to be self-hosted. While I don't know that we want to be everyone's lists, the don't take many resources.

Wonder if anyone under 20 could tell why "YouTube" has the word "tube" in it.
