@mhall119 we talked about protocols before, but probably ActivityPub, the protocol Mastodon uses, would be a good match for that. Problem being there's not a lot of implementations to crib from.

Am I agreeing with AT&T? That's uncomfortable. But it is a good point that Congress needs to take up an make rules here. From how police powers are limited to what info companies can keep, it would help drive clarity in our modern society. — https://www.dallasnews.com/business/att/2018/01/24/att-ceo-congress-need-internet-bill-rights

While this is a fun narrative, I don't think Republicans have real influence over the Russian bots. I think Putin wants to promote chaos, and uses them to that end. — http://prospect.org/article/how-freaked-out-are-republicans-about-mueller-ask-russian-bots

@liw on his third marriage where he had a relationship with the next wife during the previous marriage each time. He's not good at keeping oaths.
Rant away. Dude deserves it.

Every Go file that I've touched, make sure it's formatted the way that Go wants it.

@njpatel @0x3F I view it as anything I'd wear on a T-shirt doesn't need a content warning. Though I'm wearing a T-shirt supporting civil and human rights today, so political.

@0x3F sure, but that doesn't mean it needs a Content Warning. It means they need to choose not to engage in it. They have lots of choices on how to achieve that with open protocols and open source implementations.

Asking Trump to support Texas' illegal actions against women is probably reasonable, I can see him supporting it. Perhaps an easier solution would be to follow the law. — https://www.dallasnews.com/business/health-care/2018/01/23/abbott-asks-trump-approve-federal-funding-texas-womens-health

@ted this is exactly why I made the ActivityPub logo. Federation is best represented on its own – not by its biggest proponent.

@gwmngilfen @mairin they've got it on their suggestion page to add WebDAV support.
https://rocketbook.featureupvote.com/suggestions/1506/destination-webdav
I also seem to remember there was an Open Source app that was in F-Droid to work with it, but I can't find it now 😞
