I must have accidentally erased it but my boss also hates smartphones and wont upgrade from his flip phone so apps are out of the question lol.

Hmmm bullet journaling does like a good idea

My boss runs a small business as a land surveyor and while he doesn't know he is ADHD, as someone with ADHD I am almost positive he does. He manages a whole series of small jobs in a whirlwind of paper and it functions but keeping all the details in his head stresses him out.

I use org-mode for my own life and it is amazing, but there is no way I am getting him to touch emacs. Does anyone have any advice for similar software that is more approachable? My life organized seems nice.

I love when youtube unintentionally descends into absurdist word puns. Of course, it has to suck for deaf people but I hope when youtubes algorithms get better they preserve the terrible one as an option.

My favorite recent pun was when someone in a video said "hyperbole" and it was translated into "eye purply" in the captions.

I said that monopoly was an objectively bad game on the subreddit boardgames and all of a sudden everyone is attacking me like monopoly isnt an objectively bad game.

No moment is alone. The mind blankets the landscape of the present in a snowfall of memories real or imagined. One of the great joys of art for me is that helps me reclaim that blanket of snow as a gift instead of some painful or distracting obstacle to overcome.

My coworker recently gave me a sage bit of advice. Crush the nature valley bar completely up before you open it it and then only tear a small hole that way you can just sort of take swigs of your nature valley bar.

I havent tried it but I like solutions that involve committing to problems and making them worse to the point that they are now solutions.

Sure elvis swung his hips lewdly but he didnt talk directly about masturbation and bodily functions in detail and he didnt make a story where the female character cheats on her husband even though she loves him because he hasn't had sex with her for years and she is a sexual being that needs sexual fulfillment (and as an author doesnt really frame her as wrong).

I mean ulysses began being published in segments in 1918, its mindblowing.
