This morning I was fully dressed and ready to leave for work in plenty of time, then I decided to quickly check how the curry in the slow cooker was going. By the time I'd found and put on a clean shirt, I only just made it to the train in time.

Seems like it's usually just something like this, or some 20-something dude whining about how the PC police don't allow him to say anything edgy and THAT'S why he bombs every fucking time he gets on stage.

I love the high quality, thought-provoking posts in the Standup subreddit.

@urbanfuzzy Y'know, I'm now looking around the kitchen wondering if I could make blueberry muffins right now, and the answer is almost certainly yes.

I don't have MANY blueberries, but I do actually have some.

I have to go to the shops or I'll have nothing to make lunch for tomorrow with. I'm so tired, but I don't want Future Mike to yell at me.

@pelagikat I went there for a toilet seat and a sausage. Mission accomplished on both counts but if I'd come back without the seat I'd have had no regrets.

Today's breakfast was a sausage in bread at Bunnings and I'm pretty sure the day peaked about there.

The oven here emits a loud BEEP when it's preheated to the temperature you set it to, and every single time I turn it on I manage to forget that I'm preheating the oven and it scares the crap out of me.
