    It is a weird boomerang effect where before, I felt like I had to be as MASCULINE AS POSSIBLE to be perceived as anything but, you know, this cute small girl, and now I am learning to bounce back and have longer hair if I want to and get into florals again.

    Like the difference between using Google Translate and just speaking the language. Sort of.

    I have noticed I like the sound of my current voice better when I speak "higher" - it has more colour to it - but after years of unconsciously speaking lower in my old voice, it doesn't come naturally. I will just have to retrain myself, again

    but while you're here, if anyone can help me find some random person's fork of Twidere that fixed the image-alt-text-not-attaching thing that has persisted even after the dev closed the issue, lmk
