anyway if you're on android you can install ublock origin (or your adblock of choice) in firefox mobile, along with any other firefox extensions you want
i know some browsers already have built in adblock but it tends to be kinda limited compared to what ublock can do
it's not a limited "mobile" version btw, it's the full thing - you can use the element picker and everything
Worms as a group are more genetically diverse than mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles combined. Those 4 groups are part of one phylum the Chordata, whereas "worms" are comprised of 4 separate phyla. 1. Platyhelminthes (flatworms) 2. Nematoda (roundworms) 3. Annelida (earthworms, polycheates) 4. Nemertea (ribbonworms)
Basically, you're more closely related to fish than some worms are to one another. Huge diversity in this group.
this means that to optimize their income, workers must use multiple apps, often simultaneously, switching based on whichever is better at the time. if one app gains dominance, another may adjust rates to attract more customers & thus workers, & the cycle continues.
an infuriating but interesting aspect of the #gigeconomy: competing platforms' rates fluctuate constantly, causing the workforce to "migrate" en masse to whatever app is best at the moment.
It's fun and exciting that Facebook told everybody that videos got a huge amount of engagement and everybody switched to video to communicate on the web so they'd get more engagement, and then when it came out that Facebook had straight-up lied about that to get people to use their new video-embedding feature, everybody just kept using video even though it has a *lower* engagement rate, because That's How The Web Is Now.
Update: I gave her enclosure a clean and found the beetle, alive and well, under the funnel. It is now back with the other beetles, with some bell pepper to snack on.
