HandBrake (the video conversion tool) is all ported and working on #OpenBSD. See ports@ shortly for the port.

So that new V language works on #OpenBSD.
Here's Tetris written in V. Expect a port very soon.

    Introducing mgksh(1), #OpenBSD ksh(1) with mg(1) embedded into it.

Now you never have to learn ed(1)! Install mgksh into /bin and you'll be able to visually edit your text files in single-user mode with everything you expect from mg! For the most broken of systems.

I'm trying something new. An experiment, if you will.

Would you like to become an #OpenBSD port MAINTAINER but don't know where to start?
I have five ports ready to go. They are at the bottom of the link below. All you have to is add yourself as MAINTAINER, roll the directory into a tarball, and submit it to the ports@ mailing list.

Writing new ports can be tricky. Maintaining fully formed ports can be a nice way to learn how everything works and ease into things.

@jrm @antranigv @phessler The old NYC*BUG joke is that the real name of Mac OS X is FreeBSD: Developer Edition because all the FreeBSD devs would come with Apple products (running Mac OS X).

@clacke @mulander @galaxis The only person known to ever get PM running on OpenBSD is me. So yes. They'd be referring to the person that talked to them to figure it out, since that person is me.
